CEO Attends First White House Conference on Women's Health

Marissa Fayer was was honored to spend the day at the The White House with POTUS Joe Biden and FLOTUS Jill Biden at the 1st White House Conference on Women's Health. To have Women's Health focused on at the highest level of government with the greatest visibility is a dream for all of us who have tirelessly been working for the betterment of women's health equity.

Some initial insights:

💡 It will take $12B of funding into women's health research to get to parity and equity, which is the funding proposed to Congress by President Biden.

💡 In the 1 year since the initiation of the White House Women's Health taskforce, more has been done at a federal and private sector level than ever before for women's health.

💡 There is still only 4% of research funding focused on women's health.

💡 There is an 15-20% increase in company value when the women who work there have their health.

💡 We have to all work collectively, not against each other... and Fix your Crown ladies!

Thank you to First Lady Jill Biden for championing this work and the continued focus moving forward. Thank you Maria Shriver for making this happen with the support of Carolyn M. Mazure and today Esther Krofah from the Milken Institute.
